Ok where to start?
Wednesday: Sean and I drive to New Albany, OH. Hang out at A&F Corporate Campus for a bit to register for the race. Make our way to Easton Town Center for some food and shopping and then drive to Ohio State University to chill out for a few hours until we have to call it a night.
Thursday: Wake up half comatose for the hotel's complimentary breakfast and then fall back asleep until we have to get prepped for the race around 3pm. Make our way back to the Corporate Campus and sneak into places we definitely are not supposed to be allowed in. Get caught. Get noticed as Brand Reps. Get a tour of the Ruehl 925 mock store. Start the 5k race.. Sean finishes in 25 minutes and kicks my ass with my 28 minute finishing time. Whatever--I'm middle distance. We eat some top-notch grilled food and Collective Soul performs for a few hours. We push our way in front of 1400+ people and get within feet of the band. At some ridiculous hour of the night everybody, including us, leaves the utopia.
Friday: Wake up a half hour before check out. Clean out the maid's cart for supplies.. and make our way over to Sandusky. Wind up in Fitchville (no connection to Abercrombie) the map says nothing about the 5-way stop we're currently at. Get better directions and get to Sandusky with just enough time to eat at a very bad chinese buffet. Decide after walking through their mall that other than Cedar Point, Sandusky blows. Go to the first night of Halloweekends and wait 15 minutes tops to ride the Millennium Force, damn near everything else we just walk onto. Leave Sandusky and finally wind up back at the apartment at 2am.
